Why most Delhi schools share one last date
For entry-level admissions (Nursery, LKG and Class 1st), Delhi's private unaided schools follow the Directorate of Education's common schedule — so forms open and close on the same days across schools. What differs from school to school is the admission criteria and points. Minority schools, and schools in Noida and Gurgaon, can set their own dates, which is why those are listed school by school below.

Don't miss the date — what to have ready
- Your child's birth certificate and an address proof (for distance points).
- Recent photographs and proof for any points you claim (sibling, alumni, first-born).
- A shortlist of schools — each school has its own form, so leave time for all of them.
- Check your child's age first — Nursery needs 3+ years on 31 March 2027. Check the age criteria.
