How results come out — the stages
Results arrive in steps, not all at once. Last year (2026-27) they ran like this:

How to check your child's result
- Keep your form / registration number for every school you applied to.
- Check the list of applicants first — make sure your child's form was received.
- Check the points list — confirm your child's points are right. If not, raise it in the query window.
- Check the first list and waiting list on each school's website on the day it's uploaded.
- Watch for the second and later lists if your child is on a waiting list.

Schools upload their 2027-28 lists from January 2027. Direct links will appear here as schools publish them.
After your child is selected
- Document verification: bring originals and self-attested copies. Any mismatch with what you entered in the form can cost the seat.
- Pay the fees within the school's deadline to confirm the seat.
- Be wary of pressure: some schools ask for non-refundable fees within 24–48 hours, before other schools' lists are out. Know your other options first.
If two children have the same points
When more children share the cut-off points than there are seats, the school holds a draw of lots — under video recording or with parents present.
EWS / DG result
EWS/DG seats are allotted by a computerised draw on the Delhi government portal — check the result there: ewsadmissions.delhi.gov.in.
Common questions
When is the Delhi nursery admission first list 2027-28?
Expected in late January 2027, once the DoE announces the schedule. Last year (2026-27) the first list came out on 23 January 2026.
Where do I check the result?
Each school uploads its own lists — the applicants, their points, and the selected children — usually on its website. Use your child's form / registration number to find them.
What if two children have the same points?
When more children share the cut-off points than there are seats, the school holds a draw of lots, under video recording or with parents present.
My child's name isn't on the first list. What now?
Check the waiting list, and use the query window if you think your points were counted wrongly. Many children get seats in the second or later lists as others decline.
Does declining a seat affect my child next year?
No. Each admission session is independent — declining an offer doesn't count against your child later.
